Flashing Freedom

with jolen casper

My flashing freedom, secreted from hope;
Torn through a cold, damp, perforated night.
We two swinging free on untangled rope,
From desolation through jungles of light.
Our senses bewildered, we crossed divide -
Delivered from the pain borne of suspense.
Aft waiting on love that centuries hide,
Savouring the wonder and all its extents.
I chanced to fortune what I never owned;
Victorious by cynical reasons.
Depressions of age, smoothed over - unknown.
Tracing lifelines through cyclical seasons.
As night rapes day of her glory divine,
My sorrow, forced to surrender by time.
