Sweet Prince

by jolen casper

The moon's silver glory cannot compare,
Golden raiment adorns your temptation.
In thy pale beauty, beyond all; most fair.
Captive of your heart, my destination.

Nights long bereft of love, set wildly free,
Cast ebony eyes t'ward the fairest star.
Bid goodbye to lifelong melancholy,
No sorrow remains wherever you are.

My heart begs to fill your loving demand;
I lay prostrate before your royal seat.
One sure word is my euphoric command,
In servitude to you, I become complete.

Beckon me home to you, my prince divine;
Where the heavens sigh as our souls entwine.
