Resplendent

by jolen casper

Soothe me, thy words granting a blissful peace.
Woes lift away with rising morning mist,
My soaring spirit, ne’er 'gain grounded  ‘neath
Gray clouds, shimmers; radiantly Sun-kissed.
A tumultuous sky calmed by thy grace.
My tempest tamed, fury takes sudden wing,
Aviating t'ward Dawn's pastoral face.
Vultures of discontent ceased their circling.
Distress, companioning on maiden flight;
Discord, joining malcontent entourage;
Dis-ease, ascending residential night;
Stealthily away-a desert mirage.
Thy melodic voice leaves me mesmerized,
Gentle reflections, thy resplendent eyes.
